We related on a few things which is always nice. After every session I left with a new piece of knowledge that I can apply to daily life. Her responses and advice are all applicable and tailored to my personal experiences. She provides information that is consistent with books published by medical professionals with their PhD. She referenced similar ideas I have previously learned while studying psychology, which made me feel confident about the information she was providing. “This counseling center is a scam. Allow me to share my experience. I was told my sessions would be completely covered by insurance, and I was even given invoices saying each appointment was free of charge. one month into my treatment they realized they messed up with the inputting my insurance information. Instead of approaching me to correct THEIR mistake, they took $500 out of my account on the card that they said would not be used for appointment fees, and took an entire week after doing so to reach out to me (even when berated with phone calls and emails). Clearly their staff doesn’t understand insurance and also doesn’t understand the financial implications their recklessness could have on their patients. I could not recommend more that you choose a different practice. Your insurance may be different than mine, but their lack of being able to answer a phone and take accountability when they are wrong will definitely be an issue for you as well. The customer service I received after being scammed out of $500 only proved to me even more than it’s not their first time doing this. Telehealth allows you to get help from anywhere, and I recommend you go literally ANYWHERE ELSE.”
